Introduction

By bringing in the European advanced technology and decades of years’ research ,Vertical Roller Mill is developed to be a new kind of large-scale grinding mill ,which has solved some technical problems ,such as low capacity and high consumption in the industry mills.With the reasonable structure design and advanced process flow ,it merges the dry,powder grinding,classifier,and promotion into a single whole .Especially in the large-scale grinding crafts ,it totally meets the requirements of the clients, and its main technology and economic index have reached the international advanced level.

Structure Features

1. low operation cost

(1) It can high efficiently crush the materials by grinding rollers and material bed. So the power consumption system is 40-50% less than the Ball mills system. And its energe-saving effect will be more prominent with the increase of the materials’ humidity .

(2) With low metal damage consumption , special materials for the plate and grinding roller,its service life has been extended and the operation cost has been reduced .

(3) The cycling equipment is installed on the outside of the machine ,which can further lower the electricity consumption.

(4) The maximal size of the raw materials can reach about 5% of the grinding rollers’ diameter ,usually 40~100mm.So the large and mid type Vertical Roller Mill will not need the secondary crushing.

2. Low installation cost

(1) Compared with the Ball Mill ,it has a simple crafts process and covers an small construction area,

with the covering area less than 50% and construction area less than 70%.

(2) This machine merges the crushing ,drying,grinding ,and classifying into a single whole .With a simple structure and compact layouts,it is suitable for the outdoor design,which ensures a low construction cost.

3. Reliable function

(1) Equiped with the automatic contralling equipment ,it has realized the romote control ,which makes a convenient operation.

(2) It has the equipment which can prevent the direct touch between the roller sleeve and grinding plate ,which can avoid the crushing intense shaking.

4. With a powerful dry system,the Vertical Roller Mill transmits the materials by the airstream.When the humidity of the raw materials is large ,this machine can control the tempeture of the airflow and make the products reach the specific humidity amount. It can dry the materials with 12~15% humidity around ,while 3~4% humidity in the dry ball mills .

5. With the stable products quality and even particle size,it makes the materials have a short stay in the mill.This is convenient to test and control the products size and the chemistry ingredients.

6. The roller selleve and plate are easy to change in a short time by fixing the oil tank and turning around the flexible arms.

7. Envionment-friendly ,energy-saving :slight vibration , low noise and dust ;clean working condition

Working Principle

1. The motor dives the grinding table to turn around through the decelerator. At the same time, hot air flows into the roller mill from the air inlet. The materials fall down on the centre of grinding table from the feeder.

2. Because of the centrifugal force, the materials will move to the edge of grinding plate from the centre .The materials are crushed by the grinding roller when they passes the groove on the grinding table. The crushed materials continue to move to the edge of the grinding table until they are taken away by the airstream. Then the bigger materials fall down the grinding table and the process of crushing continues.

3. When the materials in the airstream pass the separator on the top of the mill, the materials fall down the grinding table from the taper filler under the force of guide leaf blade. The fine powder comes out with the airstream, and is gathered by the dust catcher of the system. The powder gathered is the final product of roller mill.

4. In the process of the contact of airstream , the materials are dried to meet the clients’ need at the proper moisture. Through the adjustment of the angle between the separator and the leaf of wind’s direction (not suitable to the small type of vertical mill), and also the speed of the separator rotor, it can reach the proper fineness of the materials.
